Verse: Psalm 84:11
The Lord God is a sun and a shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
- This promise is specifically directed to believers who sincerely endeavour to live godly and righteous lives.
- What God regards as good relates directly to our fulfulling His purpose for our lives.
- Our task is to walk uprightly and to trust God to furnish everything that is good (physically and spiritually).
- We do not need to live in a world of darkness and despair.
- We can live in the light of God’s presence each and every day.
- He offers us His favour and friendship, which are better than life.
- He is a Good, Good Father, who wants to bless His children in every way.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are my Good Father. You promise that You will not withhold any good thing from my life, so I look forward with hope and expectation, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
