Verse: Hosea 10:12
‘Sow for yourselves righteousness,…, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord,….
- Fallow ground is soil that has been so neglected and hardened that it cannot receive seed.
- Do not let your heart become like that spiritually.
- There is a need to break up your heart and mind by sorrow for sin.
- And also, a repentance that would open you to the word and will of God.
- You have to begin sowing seeds of righteousness by earnestly seeking God.
- Until you once again experience His faithful love and mercy.
- Is your life ready for God to in it?
- Acknowledge your sins and receive God’s forgiveness and guidance.
PRAYER: Lord, may my heart be ready to receive the seed of Your Word. May my heart be no longer stony and hard. Let it be carefully prepared and available, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
