TOPIC: ABOUNDING IN GRACE – PART 2

TEXT: HEBREWS 11:7  

Thanks be to the Almighty God for making us to abound in his grace.

Last week, the Almighty God open our eyes and our heart to understand that after we have received the grace of salvation that was freely given to us by our lord Jesus.
Christ then it did not stop but rather is a call to duty and obedience to God the Almighty. We are able to look at the life of Noah. Immediately that the scripture said that Noah
found grace, it was followed with God given him instructions on what to do. And the bible testified that Noah performed all the instructions to letter – obedience to God.

In continuation today with the part 2, we are still going to look at Noah and other characters in the bible and present world on step that they took so that they also abound
in grace. Prompt obedience is that step. Noah received the command to build the ark and he did not think twice about the command. He just starts building the ark.

HEBREWS 11:7
7 by faith Noah, being warned of God of things
not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an
ark to the saving of his house; by the which he
condemned the world, and became heir of the
righteousness which is by faith.

Brethren, if you too want to abound in grace make your obedience to be a prompt one (meaning done without any delay).
Today, i will share with us the 3 challenges that can hinder you from prompt obedience.
These challenges have deprived many of several miraculous blessings , Challenges of prompt obedience to God are as following;

1. PRIDE

In most cases people of means (wealth, academic achievement, social status) often
wrestle with pride in their effort to obey God. What do you do when obeying God makes you feel belittled and stupid?
Pride is one of the biggest challenges to obeying God. Naaman, the great, wealthy and highly position army general with leprosy. 2 KINGS 5:9-12

In order to obey God, the lord Jesus had to vacate his position and standing with God, and took the place of a servant.
Jesus was a person of means (he possessed all things) but pride could not stop him from obeying God. Brothers and sisters in the lord,
having the mind of Christ is the key to obeying God and overcoming pride regardless of your possession, achievement and social status.
In (Philippians 2:5-11), “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God;
but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men and being found in fashion as a man,
he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name.
which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is lord, to the glory of God the father.”

2. FEAR
Fear can present a very huge challenge to prompt obedience to God. I want us to know that obeying God come at a cost and the moment that fear crept in then
you missed it already. Fear compels you to be disobedient to God. Numbers 13, the 12 spies were sent by Moses to check out the promised land and after
40 days they came back 10 out of the 12 when they are given report express absolute fear and the told the people that it is a trap of death and they cannot
take it even the land is a good land but the people are giants and we are grasshoppers – Numbers 13:25-33.

One thing you should know and hold on to is that God will not set you up to fail. God honors and rewards obedience. A good example are the other 2 spies,
Caleb and Joshua – Numbers 13:30-32 Therefore, stand up to anything that will challenge your obedience to God.
Fear and faith are direct opposite to one another. Faith helps you to please God when you have it.
Fear compels you to be disobedient to God fill with doubt and unbelief , Example of God instruction to us in challenging situation is Isaiah 41:10

To overcome fear as a child of God is to get acquainted to God, rooted in the word of God then be strong and courageous

3. SUFFERING
Suffering is another challenge to obeying God. When we walk in obedience to God, we
may suffer the loss of some comfort and convenience. Mark 10:17-25 In Jesus obedience to God, Jesus suffered the death on the cross.
If obeying God is our greatest delight, then any suffering that comes in our effort to obey God will not deter us.
We may suffer the loss of friends, relationship, income, respect and others in obeying God. However, let’s remember that the reward of obedience
is always far more greater than the loses. 1 peter 5:10

Therefore, when your obedience is challenged by any perceived or real
suffering do not give up, you may be a step away from a great victory.

ขอบท่านพระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพที่ทําให้เรามีพระคุณอย่างล้นเหลือ เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว พระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพทรงเปิดตาและหัวใจของเราให้เข้าใจว่าหลังจากที่เราได้รับพระคุณแห่งความรอดที่
พระเยซูเจ้าของเราประทานแก่เราอย่างอิสระ พระคริสตเจ้าไม่ได้หยุดเพียงแค่นั้น แต่เป็นการทรงเรียกเพื่อหน้าที่และการเชื่อ ฟังพระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพ

เราสามารถ มองดูชีวิตของโนอาห์ ทันทีที่พระคัมภีร์กล่าวว่าโนอาห์ได้รับพระคุณ พระเจ้าก็ประทานคําแนะนําแก่เขาว่าต้องทําอย่างไร
และพระคัมภีร์เป็นพยานว่าโนอาห์ทําตามคําแนะนําทั้งหมดเพื่อเป็นการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า ตอนที่ 2 ในวันนี้ เราจะยังคงดูโนอาห์และตัวละครอื่น ๆ ในพระคัมภีร์และโลกปัจจุบันตามลําดับที่พวกเขาทํา
เพื่อให้พวกเขาได้รับพระคุณอย่างล้นเหลือ การเชื ่อฟังอย ่างรวดเร็ว คือขั้นตอนนั้น โนอาห์ได้รับพระบัญชาให้ต่อเรือและเขาไม่คิดซ้ําสองเกี่ยวกับพระบัญชานั้น เขาเพิ่งเริ่มสร้างเรือ , ฮีบรู 11:7

พี่น้องทั้งหลาย หากท ่านต้องการได้รับพระคุณ อย่างล้นเหลือเช่นกัน จงเชื่อฟังโดยด่วน (คือทําโดยไม่ชักช้า)ว ันนี้ข้าพเจ้าจะแบ่งปันกับเราถึงความท้าทาย 3 ประการที่สามารถขัดขวางท่านจากการเชื่อฟังทันที ความท้าทายเหล่านี้พรากพรอันน่าอัศจรรย์หลายอย่างไป

ความท้าทายในการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าในทันทีมีดังนี้:

1. ความหยิ่งจองหอง

ปัญหาส่วนใหญ่ของคนมีฐานะ (ความร่ํารวย ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สถานะทางสังคม) มักจะต่อสู้ด้วยความความหยิ่งจองหอง(ภาคภูมิใจ)ที่จะพยายามเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า
ท่านจะท ําอย่างไรเมื่อการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าทําให้ท่านรู้สึกดูแคลนและโง่เขลา? ความจองหองเป็นหนึ่งในความท้าทายที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า
นาอามาน แม่ทัพผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ มั่งคั่ง และมีตําแหน่งสูงที่เป็นโรคเรื้อน , 2 พงศ์กษัตริย์ 5:9-12.

เพื่อที่จะเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า พระเยซูเจ้าต้องออกจากตําแหน่งและยืนอยู่กับพระเจ้าและเข้ามาแทนที่คนรับใช้
พระมั่งคั่ง(พระองค์ทรงครอบครองทุกสิ่ง) แต่ความเย่อหยิ่งไม่อาจหยุดยั้งพระองค์จากการเชื่อฟัง พระเจ้าได้  พี่น้องในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
การมีความคิดของพระคริสต์เป็นกุญแจสําคัญในการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าและเอาชนะความจองหองโดยไม่ คํานึงถึงการครอบครอง ความสําเร็จ และสถานะทางสังคมของท่านใน(ฟิลิปปี 2:5-11)
“ท่านจงมีน้ําใจต่อกันเหมือนอย่างที่มีในพระเยซูคริสต์ผู้ทรงสภาพของพระเจ้า แต่มิได้ทรงถือว่าการเท่า

เทียมกับพระเจ้านั้นเป็นสิ่งที่จะต้องยึดถือ แต่ได้กลับทรงสละ และทรงรับสภาพทาส ทรงถือกําเนิดเป็นมนุษย์ และเมื่อทรง
ปรากฏพระองค์ในสภาพมนุษย์แล้ว พระองค์ก็ทรงถ่อมพระองค์ลงยอมเชื่อฟังจนถึงความมรณา กระทั่งความมรณาที่กางเขน
เหตุฉะนั้นพระเจ้าจึงได้ทรงยกพระองค์ขึ้นอย่างสูง และได้ประทานพระนามเหนือนามทั้งปวงให้แก่พระองค์ เพื่อเพราะพระนาม
นั้นทุกเข่า ในสวรรค์ ที่แผ่นดินโลก ใต้พื้นแผ่นดินโลก จะคุกลงกราบ พระเยซู และเพื่อทุกลิ้นจะยอมรับว่าพระเยซูคริสต์ทรง
เป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า อันเป็นการถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระบิดาเจ้า”

2. ความกลัว

ความกลัวสามารถนําความท้าทายอย่างมากในการกระตุ้นให้เชื่อฟังพระเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าต้องการให้เรารู้ว่าการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าต้องแลกมาด้วยความเจ็บปวด และช่วงเวลาที่
ความกลัวคืบคลานเข้ามาท่านก็พลาดมันไปแล้ว ความกลัวบังคับให้ท่านไม่เชื่อฟังพระเจ้า กันดารวิถี13,
โมเสสส่งคนสอดแนม 12 คนไปตรวจสอบดินแดนแห่งพันธสัญญาและหลังจากผ่านไป 40 วัน พวกเขากลับมา 10 คนจาก 12 คน เมื่อ
พวกเขารายงานก็แสดงความหวาดกลัวอย่างยิ่ง และผู้คนบอกผู้คนว่านี่คือกับดักแห่งความตายและพวกเขารับมันไว้ไม่ได้ ถึง
แผ่นดินจะดีแต่คนเป็นยักษ์เราเป็นตั๊กแตน – กันดารวิถี13:25-33.

สิ่งหนึ่งที่ท่านควรรู้และยึดมั่นคือพระเจ้าจะไม่ทําให้ท่านล้มเหลว พระเจ้าให้เกียรติและตอบแทนการเชื่อฟัง ตัวอย่างที่ดีคือคนสอดแนมอีก 2 คนคาเลบและโยชูวา – กันดารวิถี13:30-32
ดังนั้น จงยืนหยัดต่อทุกสิ่งที่จะท้าทายการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าของท่านความกลัวและศรัทธาเป็นสิ่งที่ตรงข้ามกันความเชื่อช่วยให้ท่านเป็นที่พอพระทัยพระเจ้าเมื่อท่านมีความกลัวบังคับให้
ท่านไม่เชื่อฟังพระเจ้า เต็มไปด้วยความสงสัยและความไม่เชื่อตัวอย่างคําสั่งของ พระเจ้าต่อเราในสถานการณ์ที่ท้าทายคืออิสยาห์41:10

3.  ความทุกข์
ความทุกข์ยากเป็นอีกหนึ่งความท้าทายในการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า เมื่อเราดําเนินชีวิตด้วยความเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าเราอาจสูญเสียความสะดวกสบายบางอย่างไป
มาระโก 10:17-25 ในารเช ือฟังพระเจ้าของพระเยซู พระเยซูยอมสิ้นพระชนม์บนไม้กางเขน หากการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าเป็นความสุขที่สุดของเรา ความทุกข์ใดๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นจากความ

พยายามของเราที่จะเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าจะไม่ขัดขวางเราเราอาจต้องสูญเสียเพื่อน ความสัมพันธ์ รายได้ ความเคารพ และอื่นๆ ในการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า อย่างไรก็
ตาม อย่าลืมว่ารางวัลของการเชื่อฟังนั้นยิ่งใหญ่กว่าการแพ้เสมอ 1 เปโตร 5:10

ดังนั้น เมื่อ การเชื่อฟังของท่านถูกท้าทายโดยการรับรู้หรือความทุกข์ที่แท้จริง อย่ายอมแพ้ ท่านอาจอยู่ห่างจากชัยชนะอันยิ่งใหญ่ไปหนึ่งก้าว
