Philippians 2:3
- We must be humble because we are lowly creatures who are sinful apart from Christ.
- We must be humble because we can boast in nothing except in the Lord. 2 Cor. 10:17.
- We must be humble because we are dependent on God for our worth and fruitfulness.
- We must be humble because we can accomplish nothing of lasting good without the help of God and others.
- We must be humble because God’s presence goes with those who walk humbly. Micah 6:8.
- We must be humble because a greater grace is given to the humble. Jam. 4:6.
- We must be humble because God opposes the proud. Jam. 4:6.
- We must be humble, because the most zealous of His children serve “the Lord with great humility.” Acts 20:19
PRAYER: Lord, help me as a believer to live in humility towards others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
