Verse: 1 John 5:4
‘For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
- The faith that overcomes the world is a faith that sees eternal realities.
- It is a faith that experiences the power of God.
- A faith that loves Christ to such an extent that the sinful pleasures, secular values, ungodly ways, and selfish materialism of the world have lost their attraction.
- The One who reigns forever is always by your side.
- Let your strength be in the fact that you belong to Him.
- Exercise your ‘faith muscles’ and trust, believe and persevere.
- Remember that nothing that is formed against you, shall stand.
PRAYER: Lord, You are my Protector, my Shepherd and Deliverer. I am Your child and I stand firm today in my confidence and belief in You and in Your limitless power to bring me through the challenges and difficulties I face, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
